U10 Offsides

Please print out this note and carry it with you to the fields all season.

There was an ommission of information regarding U-10 rules in ECYSA. It is as follows. "Offsides will be called starting at the 14-yard line in the attacking zone".

Dear Referee

As you know, you can now access you referee schedule on line. To do this you must
have created a new referee account for yourself on the Essex county web site (www.ecysa2.org) at the referee page. If you have not yet created your account, DO IT NOW! Directions for how to do this are found at the bottom of the referee home page. These instructions have been out all winter long.

In terms of your schedule I would advise you to check the referee home page
and your schedule several times each week. During the season things can change very quickly.

Again with regard to your schedule, I am aware of two data entry errors on my part.
Please check your schedule to see if you have been double booked on a date.
If you have been, let me know ASAP.

If you need to turn back games, remember you must provide a minimum of 48 hour notice, prior to scheduled kick off time. Email me and always include game numbers and your referee number.

If you wish to pick up extra games it is your responsibility to monitor the online available games list. Check the game(s) for which you want to officiate. DO NOT ASSUME these games have been assigned to you - you must receive confirmation, and they will appear on your schedule.

Thank you,

Ben Reed
